This book covers the requirements of the current Tanzanian Primary School syllabus for Vocational Skills Standard 7. Since the subject is activity--oriented, lessons are presented through activities and assignents that pupils are required to accomplish. Basic skills in woodwork, masonry, moulding, farming and livestock keeping are given. Since these activities are common in the learner’s environment, we expect that the knowledge provided in the book will enrich the pupil‘s skills in excecuting these activities in their environment and motivate them to become future entrepreneurs. In addition, the many exercises present throughout the book will help to test and evaluate the pupils’ understanding of the content of the subject. This book uses a competence-based approach like similar books for lower classes (Vocational Skills with Activities Book 5 and 6).
